| I went to Emily's daycare this afternoon to pick her up, as usual. They were outside on the playground since the weather has been so nice. When I walked up to the fence, I noticed that she was sitting underneath the slide. They have a sandbox in the shade under the slide, and she plays there sometimes. She saw me and jumped up and started running to me, getting ready to give me the biggest hug of the day. Here is our conversation after that:
Me: "Were you having fun playing outside?" Emily: "Yeah! I played with Ethan under the slide!" Me: "Ooh, that sounds neat! What did you play with him?" Emily: "He kissed me!" Me: "He kissed you?" Emily: "Yeah, and then he said he wants to marry me." Me: "He kissed you and he wants to marry you?" Emily: "Yeah.... He's having a party at his house tonight, Can I go?" Me: "No."
I'm afraid my mom has been right. I'm going to pay for my raising.

| Yesterday, during lunch time at the intersection of Geyer Springs and Forbing Road, the Short Bus' life almost ended. (So did mine and Chris'.) But thankfully, we were both wearing our seat belts and we are both pretty sore, but we'll be okay. We had just gone to pick up our marriage license (see today's paper!) and stopped to get some lunch when it happened. The mayonaise on my sandwich held it to the window afterward!
Sad, huh? :( In other news... nine days to the wedding! |

| I'm leaving early in the morning for Portland, for our annual StandUpGirl conference. I'll be back Monday, when Chris leaves for Myrtle Beach! Pray for me!! |

| AHHHH! I have shingles, which is kind of like the adult form of chicken pox. No suprise, it's stress related. It itches, it burns, it hurts, and I feel like there are bugs crawling on me. Oh yeah, and I'm really cranky. I am completely miserable. There are few people in this world that I would wish this on. |
